Taking “lighting up my phone” to a whole new level.

Nowadays, it seems like everything is a throwback. We’ve got a repeat president, every movie is a sequel, and in general, it just feels like people are yearning for the past rather than looking forward to the future.

One part of that past includes exploding cell phones. What’s old is new again!

In Anápolis, Brazil, a woman’s cell phone exploded in her pocket, setting her pants ablaze. While she suffered relatively harsh burns, she’s currently recovering and is doing just fine.

Before you ask, the phone wasn’t a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, but a Moto E32, which the woman claims she was still paying off. On the bright side, no more payment to deal with (except the hospital bill, of course).
